Ingatestone and Fryerning Cricket Club (‘IFCC’) embraces diversity and individual differences.


IFCC’s Aims
– To provide a safe, inclusive, accessible and equitable environment for our players, members, guests and visiting teams, where everyone feels comfortable and welcome
– To support the integration of inclusive practices into our matches, activities and events
– To promote inclusion within our club whenever possible
– To contribute towards growing and sustaining numbers of people from under-represented groups participating in and visiting our club


IFCC’s Commitments
– We will not tolerate bullying, discrimination, harassment or victimisation
– We will promote inclusive dressing-room culture
– We will make inclusion a priority and demonstrate that every effort has been made to enable everyone to participate
– We will provide equal opportunities to our players and members to participate in all aspects of our club, and work to actively identify and reduce barriers to participation for under-represented groups


How to escalate concerns about bullying, discrimination, harassment or victimisation:
– Please send a written summary, outlining the date(s) involved and the events which have taken place, to the Club Safeguarding Officer, Danny Higgins (youthcricket@ifcc.com / 07716 517529)
– The Complaints Procedure and Right of Appeal outlined in Ingatestone & Fryerning Cricket Club’s Conduct & Child Protection Policy (version January 2023) will apply
